What is the cancellation policy for training events with Outlife?
The cancellation policy for training events with Outlife varies depending on the venue, learning experiences and duration. However, we offer most training experiences a 50% refund if cancelled 7 days before the training date. Training Events that are cancelled within 7 days will attract 75% cancellation charges. You can find the cancellation policy for each experience on the proposal and the website.
Can I reschedule the Event date?
You can reschedule your event date with Outlife by contacting our customer support team. However, rescheduling is subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.

If Outlife cancels an experience, Outlife will offer you a full refund or an alternative experience of equal value.

What is Outbound Training?
Outbound Training is based on experiential learning model and includes group activities where participants go through challenges and obstacles and have to work together to overcome them. Each outbound activity has a structured approach to bring out specific learnings and connect it back to the real life work areas. Outbound training lets the individuals and groups discover their latent talent and strengths in a safe, secure and supportive learning atmosphere.
In any Outbound Training and Team Building activities the facilitator challenges a group to achieve a goal, but does not explain how to successfully complete the challenge. Participants must work to find a solution individually and together as a team, and must communicate and learn from each other in order to be successful.
What is Experiential Learning?
Learning from experience is a powerful methodology. More and more organizations are adopting Experiential Learning to address the Training needs of its workforce. Experiencing, Sharing, Analyzing, Reflecting and correlating the learning’s for application at the workplace is what makes experiential learning the most effective medium to develop individuals and Teams at the workplace.
How do participants learn in experiential learning or outbound training
The Participants undergoing the training are instantly able to feel the results of their actions and realise the immense difference that can be made by a changing their thinking and behavior. What is Adventure based learning
Adventure Based Learning provides the participants with a real problem to solve upfront, allow them to brainstorm and use resources to gather information, and finally, solve the problem.
Adventure Based Group challenges help people explore issues of leadership, cooperation, and conflict. The hands-on activities provide a laboratory for the team to experiment with different ways to lead or support each other. As with other experiential training, at the end of each exercise participants explore options for greater effectiveness through reflection, reviewing, debriefing and goal setting.
How does transfer of learning take place?.
The transfer of learning follows the experiential learning cycle and is done during the generalisation and application phase of the learning cycle by a facilitator. There are variety of processing tools and methods used by the facilitator to take the participants from the experience phase to the final phase of transfer of learning do that it induces a cognitive or behavioral change and participants are more likely to do things different as a result of the training undergone.

What about Safety measures in the outbound training programs.
Safety is the key to the success of any outbound and adventure training. We have taken all the measures to ensure the safety of the participants. The process to review safety measures is continuous with us.
With all land based activities participants are given safety equipment. for all water-based activity participants wear a lifejacket whenever in the water. A First Aid and Wilderness Trained Staff is always available along with fully equipped first aid kit. We take every precaution to make sure your team is safe and accident free.
